Daily Encouragement

Take care, brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart, leading you to fall away from the living God. But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called “today,” that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.

Hebrews 3:12–13 (ESV)

By challenging our brothers and sisters every day, we ourselves are putting each other to the test. If they are a true believer, then we are encouraging them in the faith. If they are an unbeliever, their deceit will be exposed.

When we go through extended periods without encouragement, sin creeps in and robs us of the joy of remembering God's promises and steadfast love. It is easy to feel alone, even when we know we have brothers and sisters going through trials much like our own.

We need to live out our call to brotherhood each and every day. Even one day without the kind words of a friend can cause the heart to grow weary. A simple message of encouragement can turn someone's day around for the better.
