MIDWEEK REFLECTIONS

All the splendor of heaven is gifted to us, and we need not fight a single battle in order to obtain it, for the battle was won in the death and resurrection of Christ Jesus.

Happiness can be chosen today, but you must first decide what you will think think about.

Do not defer your happiness to an unpromised tomorrow. Time is scarce, so spend it wisely.

Prayers that are always answered immediately would not produce faith, but an attitude of entitlement and self-righteousness.

If you know someone who is going through this deep pain this season, remind them daily that they are not alone. You may be tempted to think, 'They have plenty of friends, so I bet someone else has reached out to them already,' and then not reach out because of that thought. More often that not, if you are the one who has them in your heart, then you have been chosen to be the one to reach out.

The pain runs deep. The Holy Spirit reaches deeper. God knows the fullness of the heart and knows exactly how to repair the broken places.
