Out of the Silence
I wanted to hop on here and give you an update on what we're up to. I'm not going to make a generic "2020 has been crazy" post - you know that already. What you may not know already is that we have been working hard in our home studios writing and recording music! If you follow us on Facebook and Instagram, you may have heard some teasers for our current projects, which includes a much-anticipated NEW single release for the song "Pressure."
We don't want to reveal too much about our first album just yet, but what I do want you to know is that we have an album title and close to a full track list. What do I mean by a full track list? This doesn't mean we almost have enough songs - this means we're deciding what songs to put on the first album and what to save for the "sophomore" album (album number two). This involves deciding what matches the most thematically - what songs make the most sense to release side-by-side.
Our music is based on faith and the human condition, and this past year (including the tail-end of 2019 - not just the obvious challenges of the current year) has been nothing short of a test of the former through the latter. We are always needing prayer over many different aspects. For those already praying for us, thank you and praise God; if you are taking prayer requests, we are desiring focus in these moments to finish and release this music to YOU.
Be sure to subscribe to our mailing list to be the first to know when we are accepting pre-orders for the album; we will be printing a limited amount of physical copies of the album, so it will be something special for you to have and to hold (from this day forward, etc.). We will also be printing a limited run of "Founder" tee shirts based off of pre-orders to memorialize your support for us.
Once again, we can't thank you enough for following us and asking us about what we're up to when everything seems so quiet. Something I read this past month really sums it up (allow me to paraphrase this anonymous quote): "Just because I've been silent [on social media] doesn't mean I'm not doing anything."
